Stating the obvious

Having Piz Buin as one of my sponsors is a real treat.  It’s like supporting Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny … a no brainer.

Now one thing you must know about me is that I’m not flaky.  I may look it given the blond hair and blue eyes, but underneath it all I’m just the friendly girl who grew up in Bloemfontein and is curious about stuff.  So, the fact that I have Piz Buin on my blog is because I believe in their product.  Simple as that.

I took my first batch of samples on our extended December holiday and actually had to start hiding them in order to keep enough to last my family’s stay.  Everyone wanted to use them and I don’t blame them.  Not only do they work brilliantly, you can feel the quality in the spray/cream and every time you use it itss like a mini pamper session.

I am uber excited about this latest product. It’s going to be launched in SA in August so look out for it then if you’re a local, but for all you Northern Hemisphere’ians out there – grab some for the summer ahead you won’t be disappointed.

It’s called Piz Buin Wet Skin and does exactly what it says.  You can spray it directly onto wet skin and be guaranteed sun protection as you continue your fun.  Just off the top of my head I can think of 3 major areas of use for this: Wet kiddies that need top-up sunscreen, people who do watersports and you sporting types who sweat off all your sunblock while you run or cycle.

My friend tried it out on her delightful (wet) daughter the other day and I used it on my (dry) kiddies at a play park this morning.  Findings? It works (and smells nice too).

It’s available in SPF 15 and SPF 30.

If anyone in Cape Town bumps into me this April and wants to try some – just ask, this is something I’ll be carrying around in my bag in the last few weeks of sunshine :-)
