Welcome to Day 1 of Twin Noakes: Phase Two

I am abundantly excited about officially starting this LCHF journey. After dropping off the kids at play-school this morning I popped into Seattle Coffee Company (surprise surprise) and grabbed my own version of their Muesli Cup: Their REAL Greek Youghurt and Honey without the muesli … delicious.

At this very moment Jeanne and I are sitting opposite each other at my dining room table kick-starting our weeks over a cup of coffee and cream.

Right, so I can think of no better way to kick off this phase of the project than linking y’all to The Diet Doctor’s page on the LCHF diet for beginners.  This is where I am starting and am finding all I need right here. Click on the image to go to the site…

LCHF for Beginners

Updated 11/1/2012

Do you want to eat real food (as much as you like) and improve your health and weight? It may sound too good to be true, but LCHF (Low Carb, High Fat) is a method that has been used for 150 years. Now, modern science backs it up with proofthat it works.

There is no weighing your food, no counting, no bizarre “meal replacements,” no pills. There is just real food and common sense. And all the advice here is 100 percent free.

  1. All the very best with Phase 2. So interested you have linked to the ‘Diet Doctor’ – have followed all his videos recently. Pretty shattered I was too late to get a seat at the seminar where he is going to speak – next week isn’t it?

Thank you so much for the email and encouragement… will keep in touch.

This little old lady will make a good experiment!!!
Best to all three of you,

  2. Hi,

Why no final phase I cholesterol results? We are watching with baited breath – it was promised for 2 November but still nothing?

    Good luck for phase II

    • Hi Sharon,

I’m also waiting for bated breath for the results. Just spoke to our Project Manager and he is having a telephonic discussion regarding the results this evening.

We head up to PTA for my father’s memorial service tomorrow afternoon and will probably be very busy in the few days leading up to the gathering on Friday evening.

I may have a moment on Wed or Thurs to post the results, but it may also only be early next week.

      Sorry for the delay :-)
